Privacy Policy

Next Dimension LLC (“Next Dimension,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Creami Ideas as an iOS app on the Apple App Store (the “App”) and as a website at creami-ideas.com (the “Website”) — together, the “Service.” This Privacy Policy applies to both the App and the Website. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The short version
- The Service works without an account; recipes you create are stored on your device by default.
- If you create an account and turn on Sync, your email and your recipes & ingredients are stored in our cloud database so they appear across your devices.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
- You can delete your account and its cloud data at any time from within the app.
2. Information we collect
a. Account information
If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form — we never see your plain-text password.
b. Content you create
Recipes, ingredients, shopping lists, instructions, notes, ratings, and the nutrition values you enter or look up. By default this is stored locally on your device. If you enable Sync, it is also stored in our cloud database and associated with your account.
c. Food-search queries
When you search the food database or scan a barcode, the search term or barcode number is sent to a nutrition data provider to return results (see “How information is shared”).
d. Voice input
If you use the microphone (“speak instead of typing”) feature, speech recognition converts your speech to text. On the Website this uses your browser’s built-in speech recognition; in the App it uses Apple’s speech recognition. In either case, audio may be sent to your browser, device operating system, or Apple to process the request. We do not receive or store audio recordings.
e. Technical data
Like most online services, our hosting and cloud providers automatically process limited technical information (such as IP address and request logs) to deliver and secure the Service. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
f. Device permissions (App)
On iOS, the App asks your permission to use the camera (to scan product barcodes) and the microphone & speech recognition (for voice input). These are used only for those features while you are using them, and you can change or revoke them anytime in iOS Settings. The App does not access your photo library, contacts, or location.
We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information. The Service is free and does not process payments.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service — save and display your recipes, and sync them across your devices when you enable Sync.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To look up the nutrition information you request.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
- To comply with law and protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. How information is stored and shared
We use the following service providers to operate the Service, and share information with them only as needed to provide the features you use:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Hosting), operated by Google LLC — stores your account credentials and, if Sync is on, your recipes and ingredients. Data is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States.
- USDA FoodData Central — when you search the food database (in the App or the Website), your search term is sent to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s FoodData Central API to return nutrition results. Searches from both are routed through our own server so our API key isn’t exposed; the search term itself is sent to USDA.
- Open Food Facts — when you scan a product barcode (a feature of the iOS App), the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts to retrieve product nutrition information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Next Dimension, our users, or others. If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Local storage and cookies
The Website stores your recipes and preferences in your browser’s local storage, and the App stores them on your device, so the Service works offline and remembers your data on that device. When you sign in, a login token is stored (in your browser or on your device) so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Local data stays on your device until you delete it or clear your browser/app storage.
- If you have an account, your synced data is retained until you delete it or delete your account.
- You can delete your account and all of its cloud data at any time: in the App or on the Website, open Sync & sign-in and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your account and the recipes/ingredients stored in our cloud. (Recipes saved only on your device remain on that device unless you remove them.)
- You may also email us at creami@nextdimension.com to request deletion.
7. Security
We use standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated access, and security rules that restrict each account’s cloud data to that account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise the core of these rights directly in the app (view and edit your recipes, and delete your account). For any other request, email us at creami@nextdimension.com and we will respond consistent with applicable law. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
10. International users
We are based in the United States and process and store information there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Trademarks, third-party data, and attribution
Nutrition data is provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s FoodData Central (public domain) and by Open Food Facts contributors, whose database is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Those sources are responsible for the accuracy of their data; please also read the nutrition disclaimer in our Terms of Service.

Next Dimension LLC, the App, and the Website are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to SharkNinja, Inc. (the maker of the Ninja CREAMi), or to any other trademark holder or data provider named in this Policy. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “Effective date” above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
